 Wat Phra Si Rattana Mahathat ~ Suphanburi province was once in the heart of the ancient town Suphannaphum. The main stupa once housed relics of the Lord Buddha, but it was raided for treasure and neglected in ruins. So in 1913 Suphanburi governor ordered the formal dig up to uncover the buried amulets, Phra Phong Suphan was among the amulets found. Now temple Wat Phra Si Rattana Mahathat was rebuilt by past abbot of late LP Po.
