LP Suriyan Kosapanyo ~ Wat Pa Wang Nam Yen (PutthaWanaram), Maha Sarakham province. He was disciple of Luang Pu Khamphan Khosapanyo, a respected monk of the Isan people. The highlight of Wat Pa Wang Nam Yen is the large golden Chedi Sri Maha Sarakham, which can be seen from afar. It also has the largest wooden prayer hall in the country, which uses 112 wooden pillars. Inside the temple are three pure gold Buddha statues weighing over 12 kilograms, which are paraded around the city during the annual Kathina robe-offering ceremony.
