First a ceremony was done to bless the materials, and followed by 3 blessing ceremonies for the amulets when made. The first blessing ceremony was in the cave shrine where the legendary Khun Paen made his unborn son into the first Gumanthong. The second blessing ceremony was held late in the night at the cemetery grounds of Wat JomKeat where the spirits of ancient warriors and Mae PhiKul was called upon to channel their energies into the amulets. The grand blessing ceremony is finally conducted at Wat JomKeat with a star list of 25 illustrious top monks from around Thailand.
