Wat Rong Suea Ten "Temple of the Dancing Tiger", widely known as the Blue Temple, is one of Chiang Rai's newest and most remarkable Buddhist temples. Although it appears ancient in style, the temple is a modern masterpiece that officially opened to the public in 2016 after more than a decade of construction.  At the far end of the hall sits the temple's principal Buddha image, Phra Buddha Ratchamongkol Bodi Trilokanat, a magnificent pearl-white seated Buddha standing approximately 6.5 metres tall. The brilliant white statue contrasts beautifully with the deep blue interior, naturally drawing every visitor's attention toward the altar. According to the temple, the Buddha image enshrines 88,000 Phra Rod Lamphun Buddha images, while Buddha relics are housed within the head of the statue, making it not only an artistic masterpiece but also an object of deep religious significance for devotees.

Born on 19 August 1929 in Yala Province, he was ordained in 1949 and devoted his life to Buddhist study, meditation, and serving the community. As the abbot of Wat Huay Ngor, LP Keow helped develop the temple into a renowned center of Buddhist practice and a popular pilgrimage destination for devotees of Luang Pu Thuad. He became widely known for blessing Luang Pu Thuad amulets, which many devotees traditionally associate with protection, safe travel, loving-kindness (metta), and prosperity. Respected for his humility, compassion, and strict observance of the monastic discipline, LP Keow earned the admiration of followers throughout Thailand. "San Chao" means "shrine" because this temple has Ben Tou Gong Shrine built and bestowed by "Grandpa Kimkoey" or famously known as "Ahpek Rong See". The well-known of AhPek Rong See ~ Grandpa Kimkoey is a Chinese old man who settled in Thailand and he was usually went to the Chinese shrine at Wat San Chao in Pathum Thani Province. He was a owner of a rice mill and local people called him "AhPek Rong See".  He is well known by his Wicha and Feng Shui teaching and like to help people and teach them to do good things.
