Wat Nang Phaya - Phitsanulok province, is origin of Phra Nang Phaya amulets and always created an efficacious Phra Nang Phaya amulets. The stunning Phra Nang Phaya amulet was created during the end Sukhothai period, around 550 years ago. Later then the main 'Kru' Chedi was opened up from Wat Nang Phaya, around 1889-1891 for the first time and found the sacred Phra Nang Phaya underneath the Chedi.

Phra Nang Phaya were created during of Ayuttaya era at Phitsanulok province. The major discovered are from Wat Nang Phaya around BE2444. The temple was said to be built for merits making to his Queen, the mother of King Naresuan, the Thai people given name "Queen of Thailand amulets".
