Wat Loh Suthawat or Wat Loh was built about 1867 by Nang Lo. The temple received royal granted land for constructing the temple around 1884. The first restoration was when Phrakru Wibul Viharn was the abbot. After that, the temple has been progressive until today. Phrakru Phaidun Kanthammo, the current abbot, has realized the importance of temple development with community and person development. There are various projects by the abbot. For example propagating Buddhism, giving poor students more than a hundred scholarships per year, meditation practicing offered to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej on December 5th of every year, community Medicine Cabinet Project, 24 hours free herbal and generic medicines, a project to help the poor who died(donate coffins and transport the deceased from the hospital to the temple for cremation for free), the funeral project for the homeless.
