QingShui (清水祖师) was born in 1047. He became a monk when he was young, and his early potential was recognized by the chief monk at the temple. When the chief monk died, Qingshui became the next chief monk at the temple. He is credited with many famous quotes made during his lifetime. He was born as name Chen Zhaoyin, was ordained Buddhist monk during the Northern Song from Anxi County, Quanzhou. He was said to have gained supernatural powers gained through his skill in speaking the dhamma and meditation. Through this, he is said to have saved the town of Anxi during a period of drought, bringing rain as he went from place to place. In reverence, the villagers built shrines to him and hence became a deified person in Chinese folk religion.

This is Sacred Efficacious Rian Octagon 林府姑娘 Chao Mae Lim Ko Niao With 清水祖师 Nur KalaiThong, strongly blessed by Shrine Mass Chanted in year BE2545. This sacred of Rian Octagon 林府姑娘 Chao Mae Lim Ko Niao is made from Mixed Nur KalaiThong materials. Featured with sacred Rian 林府姑娘 Chao Mae Lim Ko Niao image and name details at front. Additional with sacred 清水祖师 and name details at back.

 The old Chinese Shrine Chao Mae Lim Ko Niao with history about 400 years and located in Pattani city.  The sacred 林府姑娘 wooden sculpture. The legend has it that Lim Ko Niao, a Chinese girl who came to Pattani by ship to look for Lim To Khiam, her elder brother who had got married to the Pattani governor's daughter, converted to Islam and ordered the construction of the Krue Se mosque. However, she was not successful in taking her brother back home. Therefore, after putting a curse impeding the roof of the mosque to be completed, she hanged herself on a cashew tree near the mosque and her brother buried her at this place.
