The bronze used in the amulet was over 700 years old having originated from a sunken vessel in the sea at Chantaburi. Luang Phor Garlong researched the creation of Phra Kring amulets in great depth, referring to all the sacred documents of Wat Suthat and in particular took advice from Luang Phor Sonth.
